The journey of Bulgasnet Maroc in the gas sector began in 2023, with strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing Morocco’s energy landscape. Collaborating with international leaders in gas technology, Bulgasnet Maroc is committed to bringing innovative solutions to the Moroccan market.

The first steps in the gas sector of the founders of the Bulgarian Gas Network Energy Cluster were made in 2002, with the partnership of Fornovagaz, Italy, and since 2005. with the distribution of “Galileo Technology”, Argentina.

In 2005, one of the first automobile gas charging stations in the country was built with the equipment of “Galileo Technology”, and in 2006. A project was developed, supported by the National Innovation Fund IF-00-113/2006 for adaptation of the Argentine technology “Virtual Gas Pipeline”, which was implemented in 2007. for the supply of natural gas to territories remote from the gas transmission system in South Central Bulgaria, co-financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, under the program of the Kozloduy International Fund.

During the adaptation and implementation of the project, inventions were developed, protected in the Patent Office of Bulgaria with utility model No. 1741 – Rotary cascade system for natural gas transmission and utility model No. 1705 – Multi-element gas container, the results of the project were evaluated at two international industrial exhibitions in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in 2011 and 2017. with gold medals and diplomas.

The developed technology supplies natural gas to five licensed territories in Bulgaria – Karlovo, Chepelare, Pirdop, Zlatitsa and Strelcha, Strumica Municipality in North Macedonia, and the Pamporovo Resort has become the first winter alpine resort in the world with a fully built and working gas supply network, providing access to over 100 sites of the complex.
